The Ripe Organic Markets popped up at the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic this weekend at Emirates Golf Club. In truth it is a bit of an accident that we ended up here. My husband is playing golf (again) although not at this club and I had been on the look out for some local Christmas markets to take the kids to – partly to get us out of the house and partly so that we could get in for the all important Santa visit this year.… Read the rest
This is the second year my husband & I have been lucky enough to receive an invitation to dinner a the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. Earlier in the day, the men (yes, all the men!) played a round at one of the most beautiful courses in Dubai (that’s saying something given Dubai’s high standard of courses) and now I arrive with a couple of the other wives for dinner and, importantly (I’m told), the presentations.… Read the rest
The Address Montgomerie is an area of expansive green, something you don’t see too much of in the middle of Dubai. It’s soothing on the eyes. Walking through the driving range and over to the hotel and club house for breakfast I feel a sense of the space wash over me as I gaze out on all the lushness.… Read the rest
